Station Preview Update & "HIStory Begins" Music Review

This week, we pushed a minor update to the station. As it is right now, the station runs a set of song previews every couple of hours as part of our on-air branding. The process for setting up which songs can be previewed is manual, and we spent a little time this week adding more songs to the list. We also have a pending backlog to filter into the rotation from C99, with the latest music from Reitaisai 19 still too new to add in (this will become available on November 8th).

Our latest music review from DMJ654 looks at “HIStory Begins” from Hatsunetsumiko’s. This album is unique in that it’s a sort of rehash of existing songs, all featuring one of our reviewer’s favorite vocalists, Ark Brown. The interesting thing about having someone review a work with a vocalist they enjoy listening to is that they’ll tend to be more critical about it. Finally, we’ve got a couple events scheduled: Live #119 on August 20th, and Meetup #15 on August 21st. That’s right, it’s another double-event weekend due to our staff having packed schedules this month. Events are scheduled up on Discord, and you can get notified when they’re happening by clicking on the “Interested” button next to each event. Next month should cool down a little bit… I’m looking forward to it.
